Colin Rodgers gave me the idea for this page
when he sent me some black & white photos of his family
camping at Aberdovey in 1935. His
description of how they managed the journey by train and bicycle makes
interesting reading. Many of us would have similar old
family photos and stories from those days of our childhood when life
